The Crew

Interactive game publisher Ubisoft wanted a custom typeface that would create an immersive world down to the last detail. Mobilizing a type palette that is at once functional and expressive, The Crew Sans evokes the muscular dynamics of fast cars and urban adventure. Woven through the identity of The Crew, the new typeface injects a strong personality into a one-of-a-kind video game that rolls out smoothly and seamlessly.

The Crew is an open-world racing video game co-developed by Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections and published by Ubisoft for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows. The typefaces are used for communication material and visual identity, for the user interface and for in-game texts.
